Laura L. Mitchell is an Associate Actuary with The Segal Company. She is an Enrolled actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, and the College of Pension Actuaries, and has a BS in Mathematics and Applied Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Laura has consulted on a wide range of plans including small employers, large corporate employers, and collectively bargained multiemployer plans.
Laura has served as the College of Pension Actuaries Elections Commissioner and on the Conference Planning Committee. This year Laura will be in charge of planning the annual conference. She also serves on Continuing Education Committee for the Pension Section of the Society of Actuaries.
