Pat is President of Actuarial Consultants, Inc., an employee benefits consulting firm in Torrance, CA and co-founder of CCi, a compensation consulting company, specializing in executive deferred compensation and incentive systems. He co-founded Strategic Benefits Group, designed to organize multiple disciplines around the objective of meeting compensation and benefit means for his clients. He is also co-founder of The Cultural EdgeSM, which helps clients create appropriate values and visions for their companies that are then supported by their compensation and benefit programs.

Pat was the 1991 president of American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPPA), as well as being a past Board of Directors member. Pat was the founding co-chair of the Los Angeles Benefits Conference in 1992, which is now co-sponsored by the IRS, ASPPA, Western Pension & Benefits Conference, National Institute of Pension Administrators and other organizations.

Pat received the IRS Los Angeles District Director’s Award in recognition of his commitment and service to the pension industry and the Benefits Conference, The Commissioner’s Award from the IRS, which is for “dedication and outstanding personal contribution” to the country’s retirement plan and system, and is the 2005 recipient of ASPPA’s Harry T. Eidson Founder’s Award for service to the private pension system. Other professional affiliations include the Western Pension Conference, the South Bay Estate Planning Council, of which he is a past President and the Los Angeles Enrolled Actuaries Workshop.

His undergraduate degree is from The University of Santa Clara and he has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
