This is a 2 day conference/workshop offering 16 hours of core credit. There will be a welcome reception the evening of Friday, August 18th 2006.

The meeting will be specifically tailored towards the actuarial issues that we are all dealing with now and the changes in the near future. The meeting will present the following topics:

  • Current Law Funding/Deduction Issues
  • Pension Funding Reform
  • Reducing Discrimination Failures
  • FASB Exposure Draft Issues

Certain sessions will be presented in a ‘hands on’ workshop style with samples and problem solving…so bring your calculators!

Registration fees are:

  COPA member early (by July 15, 2006): $450
  COPA Member (July 16 - August 7, 2006): $500
  COPA Member On-Site (after August 7, 2006): $600
 
  Non-member Early (by July 15, 2006): $550*
  Non-member (July 16 - August 7, 2006): $600*
  Non-member On-Site (after August 7, 2006): $700*

*Note for all enrolled actuaries: Any enrolled actuary that joins COPA prior to or concurrent with conference registration will qualify for the member fee which is a $100 in savings!

In addition, membership runs through December 31, 2007 for those who apply for membership between July 1 and December 31, 2006!
